"Beyond Technology: Working in Brooklyn"
1999-07-03 until 1999-09-12
Brooklyn Museum of Art
Brooklyn, NY, USA United States of America

Five Brooklyn artists who create works with computers, video equipment, and electronic media will be featured in Working in Brooklyn: Beyond Technology, opening at the Brooklyn Museum of Art on July 1, 1999. Curated by Charlotta Kotik, Curator of Contemporary Art, the exhibition will comprise works from artists Rico Gatson, Perry Hoberman, Roxy Paine, Fatima Tuggar and Janet Zweig and will continue through September 12, 1999. In the process of creating art, all the artists in this exhibition ask how our perception of time and space is affected by new technology and how human interaction is manipulated by our latest discoveries.
