WHAT WE OFFER

Cultural Strategic Planning In order to ensure effective growth, better serve audiences and expand resources, we recommend that cultural institutions and community cultural resources periodically examine and redefine vision, mission, organizational - and community - priorities and capabilities. We provide assessments, analysis and evaluation of community and regional needs. We perform interviews, convene focus groups, measure and evaluate findings, and collaborate with leadership to create both short and long term strategic plans of action, priorities and timetables.

Board Recruitment and Development

A skillful, generous and carefully selected volunteer board of directors is a cornerstone for successful growth -- and especially important for the cultural organization. We help identify and cultivate the board members and advise on sensitive issues such as board orientation, training, retreats, and conflict resolution.

Feasibility Studies and Capital Campaigns Preparing for a capital and/or endowment campaign may be a daunting undertaking, especially for the small and mid-size institution. We work closely with key volunteers and staff executives to perform comprehensive feasibility studies, assess internal capabilities, and create the strategic plan and case statements to launch the campaign. We help ensure that your campaign planning will complement and reinforce, not jeopardize, healthy annual giving programs. We are also able to advise on, and to undertake, a range of actual campaign responsibilities including designing the campaign Ablueprint@ including management needs, timetables, budgets and actions; creating and marketing the case and institutional Avision@ statement; managing donor and prospect data and research.

Annual Fund Development

A solid and successful annual giving program is a must for institutional stability and growth. We help assess and analyze your organization=s potential for increased giving, advise on prospects, promotional and marketing materials and appeals, train volunteers, and review fundraising materials and grants. We provide your organization with timely action plans and strategies to increase support from individuals, foundations, corporations, government agencies, and may also coordinate special fundraising events. We can manage your annual fund program, write grants, provide tracking of requests and oversee day to day operations, as needed.

Corporate Sponsorship Development

We specialize in brokering and encouraging partnerships and corporate sponsorships for a range of cultural ventures. We position your presentations, projects and exhibitions as marketing opportunities for corporations and businesses. We can also meet your needs for market research, cultivation and/or promotion to the corporate community.

Project and Special Event Management

When your own team is overburdened or understaffed, or you need capable managers, our consultants can undertake a wide range of short and long term projects, even at the critical early stages. Our services include analyzing audience and market potential, developing the business plan, assessing financial and promotional needs, and representing the project to potential sponsors, investors, the media and general public. We coordinate budgets, meeting and event arrangements, lists, promotional and media activities, and volunteers.

Technical Assistance Workshops and Leadership Retreats

We design and facilitate a wide range of workshops, roundtables and group planning processes including retreats. We customize presentations for volunteers and management to meet the unique needs of each organization. Topics include: board building and development, strategic planning, annual and capital campaigns, corporate sponsorship and cultural marketing.
