"Mémoire objective, mémoire collective. Photographies de Maurice Perron"
1999-08-12 until 1999-09-26
Musee du Quebec
Quebec City, ,
CA Canada
The Musée is presenting approximately 100
photographs by Maurice Perron (1924-1999), an
eyewitness to a period which indelibly marked
Québec history. Photographer Maurice Perron, one
of the sixteen signatories to the Refus global
manifesto in 1948, produced numerous sensitive fine
photos of the Automatistes’group
experience. He took many pictures of
important public events in the group’s history,
was keenly interested in the creative process
and captured on film numerous portraits and
moments in the daily lives of his family and
friends.
