The opening of the Mouth and Foot Artists Art Exhibition in the Drama Marble
Foyer of the State Theatre marked a historic moment not only for Pretoria,
but the whole of South Africa.
For the first time ever, Mouth and Foot artists from all over the world are
exhibiting their work in a group exhibition in South Africa. Approximately
100 expressive paintings by these dedicated and talented men and women are
on display until 23 August only!
With the help of the Association of Mouth and Foot Painters, the South
African subsidiary of the international Vereinigung der Mund und
Fussmalenden Künstler in Aller Welt (V.D.M.F.K.), a unique collection of
breathtaking paintings are being displayed at the STAG. Artworks from
international artists were supplied by the head office of the V.D.M.F.K.,
based in Liechtenstein
This unmissable exhibition will be at the STAG for a limited time only, and
members of the public are encouraged to grab this fantastic opportunity to
view and purchase artworks before 23 August, when the exhibition closes.
The STAG thanks and congratulates these mouth and foot artists, who despite
their physical challenges, have the willpower and motivation to excel in
their field and contribute to their respective cultures through their
beautiful art.
Gallery hours are 10:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday, and 10:00 - 13:00 on
Saturday. STAG will also be open in the evenings during all performances in
the Drama and Opera theatres.
