Indepth Arts News: "Foundation Seeks Support for Holocaust Art Project" 1999-08-17 until 1999-08-17 Gideon Fouondation Miami, FL, USA United States of America
There are a handful of talented artisans across the United States who either
by inclusion in the Holocaust or by deep emotion for those who suffered,
have gone on to dedicate part of their lives to preserving their visions
through the arts of the most hateful event in history. The Gideon
Foundation for the Arts newest project is to collect all of these works and
place them in a central museum for the worldwide viewing of these priceless
works. Our focus with this project is the worlds artistic impression of the
hate and suffering undergone by the victims of the Holocaust so that future
generation can have a visual understanding of the meaning of hatred.
The GFA is in need of funding for the establishment of the collection, the
construction of facilities and the establishment of a trust for continued
operational support. Artist Gideon established the GFA some twenty years
ago and has led the world in preserving the Holocaust victimís memories
through the arts, now it is our goal to preserve the works of these artisans
who so emotionally saved the souls of millions. We must get help so we can

The Gideon Foundation for the Arts was established in 1977 as a 501(c)(3)
