This exhibition includes models, photos and plans for the concept of the Villa Tugendhat(1928-1930) by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe for Grete and Fritz Tugendhat in Brunn/Brno. The last large multi unit complex that Mies van der Rohe realized before
emigrating can be seen as an architectural work that encompasses all his
visions: The interior design was done by him and the site specific
integration of the building in the surrounding landscape was an integral
part to the project.
