An exciting, ongoing reorganization of
the Contemporary Galleries at the AGO
reinforces thematic links between the
works and features Canadian artists
prominently with their international
peers.
New acquisitions by Canadian artists
Gerald Ferguson and Eric Cameron
have been installed alongside works by
American artists Robert Smithson,
Dennis Oppenheim and Robert Morris
as part of a major reinstallation of the
Contemporary Galleries. Other
highlights include a recent series of 15
narrative paintings by Sandra Meigs, and Whispering Room, a
multimedia installation by Janet Cardiff, whose work has recently
received international acclaim.
