Long known for its ancient art, Egypt is also a modern country with contemporary artists working
in all media. These artists draw on Egypts rich past and vibrant present as well as their own
individual creative vision. The exhibition features approximately 34 paintings and 50 sculptures by
two of the most prominent contemporary Egyptian artists, abstract painter Farouk Hosny and
