In this unusually extended tripartite installation, lasting some eighteen months, Dia explores in detail the vast range of work created over the past twenty years by this renowned mid-career German artist. This exhibition, devised in three segments with distinct points of reference, reveals the extraordinary inventiveness and diversity of Schüttes production. In Medias Res, the third and final phase, will focus on recent figure sculpture and ceramics, which will be shown together with a new series of works on paper.
