"Renaissance 2000 Project"
0000-00-00 until 0000-00-00
Aardvark Studios
, , USA United States of America

Aardvark Studios (founded 1992) and the Garland Artist Group (founded 1994) invites Artists world-wide to participate in the Renaissance 2000 Project. Artists may contribute one original work of art (max size 12-inches h x 12-inches w x 12-inches d) in any medium. Throughout 1999 the Art will be fused with on-site work in our studio to create a mixed media assemblage celebrating Art at the end of the 20th century.

There are NO fees to participate... no restrictions on content... no age limits. Art in ALL media will be incorporated into the Renaissance 2000 Project. (Sorry, we do not have any means to output digital files, but will accept prints.)

This is a non-profit, grassroots effort. No Art will be sold. No corporate sponsorships are available. No Art can be returned.

Art will be permanently incorporated into a mixed media installtion which will tour 2000 - 2001. Then, the R2k Project will be donated to a contemporary museum for historical preservation. All participating artists will receive documentation of the Renaissance 2000 Project.

See the R2k Project on-line at http://bellazi.tds.nu Bella ZI'- A Way of Coolness

In addition to an overview of the Project-to-date, there is a current list of participants and a sampling of images we've received so far.

To participate, send your artwork (with name, address, title, etc.) and a brief Artist's statement (25 words or less) to R2k Project, Aardvark Studios, P.O. Box 542913, Dallas, TX 75354-2913 USA between now and 12/31/99.
