"Art Protest"
1999-12-13 until 0000-00-00
Forest City Gallery
London, ON, CA Canada

The art-protest will take place at 5:30pm  at the Gardner Auction House, which is located on York Street, across from the Train Station.  The date is Monday, December the 13th,  1999.  The protest will be a fun one with a definite point:  The Police Commission has decided in their infinite wisdom to sell off a good portion of the Art collection to finance the purchase of exercise equipment.  Orlando Zamprogna  (City Councillor and Police Board Commision member)  is spearheading this sell-off on the cheap.  The clincher is that this art is OUR ART BOUGHT BY THE PUBLICS MONEY AND IN SUPPORT OF ARTITS AND CULTURE.   It is not the sole property of the Police Department or the Police Commission Board.  Let's make an effective stance agianst this breach of the Public Trust!!!

Come out on Monday night and join your fellow revellers who want to make a point at the Auction night--  December 13,  1999 @ 5:30pm
