Every winter the Portland Museum of Art proudly displays the highlights of the previous year of collecting art. Recent New Acquisitions exhibitions have provided proof of a collection growing rapidly in size and quality. Accordingly, this year's show will include not only major gifts of paintings by Eugene Boudin, Charles-Francois Daubigny, Stephen Etnier, Grace Hartigan, William MacGregor Paxton, and Fairfield Porter, but also important acquisitions of prints by Will Barnet, Andy Warhol, and Neil Welliver. Photography will be presented by gifts and purchases of images by acclaimed photographers Arthur Fink, Joyce Tenneson, and Dean Tokuno, among others.
