Tuymans, this exhibition reveals a
diverse range of abstract and
figurative styles being developed by
emerging contemporary artists. The
works on view have been acquired
by SFMOMA through purchases and
gifts within the last three years and
are brought together as part of the
Museum's New Work series, which
features recent or commissioned
work by both younger and
established artists.
