Just like in any large town also in Vienna, Austria only a small portion of all the developed ideas and projects have taken place. Often they were created for competitions or as with suggestions the prototypes were done without concrete situations. For a few of them the actual historic situation denied their realization. Many of these works on paper are showing a new, never before shown artistic potential for the architectural redesign and modernization of Vienna. If those projects would have been realized Vienna would have a very different face today.
