Ten years ago, 31-12-1990, Frank Lisser made the first observation of the last twilight of the that year seen through his
window in four small paintings of each typical moment.
From that moment his view had been noticed each last afternoon of that year by the painter in first four later six small
oil-paintings.
The view during these ten years has been changed dramatically. It changed from an open field with the flats of the
east-side of amsterdam on the horizon into an area with houses and other buildings.
And on 31-12-1999 he will be paint the last twilight of this millennium.
All paintings, 53, will be exposed in Gallery Hoogenbosch, Stationstraat 66,
8401 DS Gorredijk, The Netherlands.

Open on Thursday until Sunday from 13.30-17.30
