This months studio-visit is the Dean St. Field of Operation. They are a
unique performance troupe that combines many disciplines and tosses in a bit
of Beckett and Butoh. See their
new piece at PS122 running January 14 - February 6.
Our aim is to offer an in-depth look at an individual artist or troupe. Each
month we will offer a personal look into the artists studio along with an
interview, slides, and a resume. Since todays cultural borders are
constantly melting and fusing, we are not just limiting our studio visits to
fine artists, but also designers, musicians, performers, etc.
