Nearly a century of dance captured by photographers is included in this exhibition
organized from the collection of Carol Halsted, a professor of dance at Oakland University.
Over 50 photographs depict the great dancers and choreographers of the 20th century.
The
works range from classic ballet to modern dance. Works by more that 30 photographers are
featured, including Margaret Bourke-White, Annie Liebowitz, Irving Penn and Henri
Cartier-Bresson.
