A $500.00 Scholarship to be presented to an undergraduate student of merit in the UT El Paso Department of Theatre Arts In order to apply for The Dorothy S. Karber Scholarship, the student must provide proof that he/she meets the following criteria: 1. The student must be enrolled as a major in the UT El Paso Department of Theatre Arts 2. He/she must have a 3.0 GPA or higher 3. He/she must have successfully completed at least 30 hours in his/her degree plan

In order to apply, please submit proof of the above and the following:

1. A theatrical resume which includes work done in the Department of Theatre
Arts as well as in the Community Theatre sector 2. A 1 * - 2 page essay, typed, double spaced, using standard written English, describing what your future goals in theatre are and why
3. 3 letters of recommendation from theatre professionals, educators or references of character

The Aardvark Theatre, Inc Dorothy S. Karber Memorial Scholarship is a private scholarship, not bound by the rules of any other organization. The selection committee will be comprised of UT El Paso faculty and leaders from the El Paso community. Artistic staff of Aardvark Theatre, Inc will not be a part of this committee. Aardvark Theatre, Inc. is funded in part by the City of El Paso Arts Resources Department and the Texas Commission on the Arts
