ART DEPT is hosting his 3rd international FREE on-line
competition. People vote for their favorites in four different categories and
cash prizes are awarded to those who get the most quantity of votes through
the year. The site is accepting submissions now.
ArtDept is an online association of professional artists.
For those interested in geography the studio is about 5 kilometres south from the heart of Sydney in
Australia (on the way to the airport). The studio is the best in a series of nine. Our members are
comprised of all the art fields. Many of them started out as painters and have found a niche, others have
found artistic niches away from painting, but we all still have the same things in common.
Art today or of any day is perpetually changing... mediums, techniques and themes are ever changing.
Today, anyone with a computer and graphics software has the potential at their fingertips to easily create
'art'.
