"HibelFest 2000 - Fabulous*Fun*Fantasy"
2000-03-04 until 2000-03-06
Hibel Museum of Art
Lake Worth, FL, USA United States of America

Edna Hibel will host HibelFest 2000 - Fabulous*Fun*Fantasy, the largest exhibition by a living artist ever displayed in Florida, on March 4, 5, and 6 at the Marriott Hotel in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Born and raised in Boston, and a Palm Beach County resident for more than 30 years, the internationally renowned Edna Hibel will share with nearly 1,000 people expected to attend the exhibit her art in many media reflecting the theme of the New Century and New Millennium.

Over 500 framed and more than 2,000 unframed art works will be on exhibit to Hibel followers and members of the public. These art works will include oil paintings, original lithographs, serigraphs, giclees, multimedia, art dolls, and fragments of graphics, many uniquely enhanced by Hibel with oil paints, pastels, charcoal, and gold leaf.

One of the collections displayed at HibelFest 2000, Compassion in Television and Motion Pictures in a New Era, will feature 40 Hibel art works that will be shown on six prime-time weekly program series, as well as a major motion picture, beginning in March. Hibel's colorful Renaissance- and Impressionist-style portrayals of mothers and children, landscapes, flowers, and portraits-including one commissioned by the late Ginger Rogers in her Hello Dolly! costume will be on view to the public at HibelFest 2000.

These artworks, including a variety of original multimedia and porcelain art, will be shown soon on these prime-time television programs: West Wing (NBC), Arli$$ (1-IBO), Seventh Heaven (WB), The Jersey (Disney), Battery Park (NBC), and Pacific Blue (USA). In addition, Hibel's work will be shown in Erin Brockovich, a Universal Pictures film starring Julia Roberts that will be released nationwide on March 17.
