This is the story of my medical history. The story began when I had a car accident at the age of 23. I sustained multiple facial and head injuries and partial loss of
sight in my right eye. Following the accident I underwent many neurosurgical and ophthalmologic and plastic surgical
operations. This surgery involved me spending many months in hospital.
I am a documentary photographer. It was a natural progression for me to turn my camera from the external world onto
myself. My body, my experiences are the essence of this work.
The Brain, my Brain, the sweet tormented brain,
I invented a new photographic process to document my story. The photographic prints contain not just a visual record of my
story they also contain parts of my genetic material. I have registered the name of this process as Genomegram. All
Genomegram are of archival quality. I also have a patent pending for the process used to develop these prints.
