"Cigar Box Art Exhibit"
0000-00-00 until 2000-04-31
America Oh Yes!
Washington, DC, USA United States of America

Almost everybody they know had their treasures stashed away in old cigar boxes when they were kids. And seeing an old cigar box always causes a rush of nostalgic memories. That's one of the reasons America Oh Yes! asked some of their artists to use cigar boxes to create art for this exhibition. A surprising number of artists were already working with cigar boxes ... but many others took up the challenge especially for this art show. It's really a fantastic collection of art ... and most of the pieces are very affordable, especially considering the amount of work that went into them.

America Oh Yes! loves all the work presented. Some of the pieces are obviously cigar boxes, yet others are so cleverly designed, it's not readily apparent that a cigar box was used. They range from exquisite and beautiful to downright laughable. Also don't miss some of the wonderful paintings that were done as well. If you see something you like here, America Oh Yes! suggests that you email immediately to reserve the piece because they think this is going to be a very popular gallery exhibit.
