The Levitation Grounds - the first collaborative work produced by Haines and Hinterding - is the result of a residency undertaken at the Cape Burny Lighthouse in Tasmania in 1999. Their aim was to create a work that used the sensitivities of the Cape Burny environment to activate an interior space of the imagination.
