The Maine Artists Space (MAS) seeks visual artists between the ages of 19-35,the Unknown Generation X, for an exhibition to be held at the Danforth Gallery, Portland Maine and on MAS web site Oct-Dec 2000. Curator is Mark Bessire, Director, Institute of Contemporary Art, MECA, Artists must live or work in the North Atlantic Area: New York to Newfoundland (NY,CT,MA,RI,VT,NH, ME) and in Canada (NB,NS,PEI,NFL,& QUE).
