The Bishop’s University Art Gallery is proud to announce its first ever Graduating Fine Arts Student Exhibition. The show entitled Ground Zero, presents a collection of work by talented students in both Studio Art and Art History. This visual arts exhibition presents painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media and photographs of eight studio students: Robert Benson, Marie-Pierre Boucher, Geneviève Côté, Hannah Emmerson, Allison Kinnucan, Kristina Lynham, Genevieve Morin and Tara White.
The exhibition catalogue contains photos of the studio work and articles by eight graduating Art History students: Brent Bassermann; Robert Benson; Chris Driezick; Allison Hepworth; Erika Jenkinson; Geneviève Morin and Melinda Steinberg. While the show offers the students an opportunity to exhibit their work, it also allows the public a chance to witness the creativity and diversity of talent offered by the Bishop’s Fine Arts Department. The McConnell Student Opportunity Fund has provided funding for the exhibition. The exhibition has been organised by the Bishop’s University Art Gallery.
Monday April 10th, from 5-7 p.m. guest speakers Danija Jojich and Francine Salinitri will be presenting a lecture at the Bishop’s Art Gallery, on HOW TO START YOUR ART CAREER.
