Curated by Susan Landauer, curator of the San Jose Museum of Art, this exhibition will
examine Bay Area figurative art dating from the late 1950s to the present.
Focusing on
humorous and whimsical work, the exhibition will feature about 45 paintings, drawings, and
sculptures. Highlighted artists include Wayne Thiebaud, Elmer Bischoff, David Park,
Robert Arneson, and many others.
