For this exhibition, the museum has
supplemented its own holdings with works
from private and public art collections across
Texas, selecting approximately 35
watercolors that convey the rich tradition and
continuing vitality of the watercolor medium in
American art.
The exhibition ranges from
John James Audubon to Brice Marden and
includes such masters of the watercolor as
Winslow Homer, John Singer Sargent, and
John Marin.
This exhibition has been made possible by the
