Lazy J
Brooklyn, NY, USA United States of America

The Lazy J is pleased to announce the exhibition idiopath/. An idiopath is a type of artist who combines quirk and menace, humor and pathos and the peculiar and the obvious, often privileging small moments to the exclusion of the big picture. Istvan Szilasi s blinking mugshots, Diana Kingsley s teetering bowl of Sno-Caps, and Stephan Le Mercier s conversation with a wall are just some examples of idiopath/ production.

The Lazy J focuses on showing emerging and mid-career artists living in NewYork, with special emphasis on video and digital art. Also serves as video editing ranch.

The Lazy J Video Round Up is now accepting video art submissions for ongoing exhibition program

199 N7 Street Brooklyn (Williamsburg) NY 11211, tel/fax (718)302-1634, open: Fri. Sat. Sun. 2-6 or by appointment
