The City of Austin Art in Public Places Program is seeking to commission an artist for the Todd Lane Service Center. Professional artists who currently reside in the Central Texas region and who work in with experience in large scale painted or photo murals, and/or metal bas relief (wall mounted) or free standing sculpture are invited to submit proposals by Friday, June 30, 2000, 5:00 p.m.
A Project Information Meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 31st at 6:00 p.m. at the Dougherty Arts Center Theatre, 1110 Barton Springs Road to discuss the project and possible site locations. The total available budget for commission is $40,000.
