"The Warhol Look/Glamour Style Fashion"

This exhibition, organized by The Andy Warhol Museum, premiered at
the Whitney Museum of American Art in the Fall of 1997. The
exhibition is organized into seven sections and presents, for the first
time, how style and fashion crossed into the worlds of contemporary
fine art, film and museums through Warhol’s life and work.
The Warhol
Look/Glamour Style Fashion traces Warhols interest and the
progression of his work from the 1940s through the 1980s. Drawn
primarily from the Museums art and archival collections, the selection
of over 500 works includes clothing, paintings and drawings,
photographs, period magazines, fashion illustrations, reconstructed
period window displays, films and video.
