Indepth Arts News: "GOD IN THE NEW MILLENNIUM" 2000-06-19 until 2000-07-01 Chequer Mead Theatre and Arts Centre East Grinstead, , UK United Kingdom
2000 years after the birth of Christ artists, of many different
nationalities, ages and abilities, were asked for their visions of Where
will God be in the new millennium. Included in this exhibition are works in many media - including paintings, drawings, ceramics,
sculpture, textiles, calligraphy, mosaic and illustrated verse.
In Hebrews 13:8, the Bible says that
Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. What this means to us in
the 21st Century, when some might say we worship more at theHouse of
Sunday Trading than the House of God, is a question of some debate.
Exhibition Opening Hours: 9 am to 7 pm Monday to Saturday, 19th June - 1st
