The Vedute Foundation of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is devoted to building a collection of 3D manuscripts: three-dimensional objects as visualized thoughts that make tangible the concept of space. All the manuscripts are 44x32x7 cm in closed form. Architectural Acoustics: Acoustic Architecture features in particular 40 works by 14 architects, designers and composers who were invited to approach the concept of space from the world of sound.

How does sound transform of create space and what happens to space when it is devoid of soundNULL The exhibition includes composer Lee Ronaldo's manuscript, which uses personal acoustic fragments to create a fictional piece. Composer Bruce Odland's manuscript will explore resonance. And architect Jan Hoogstad has translated a piece by Bach into an architectural structure.
