"O Narcisse, ma soeur..."
2000-10-05 until 2001-01-21
Musee du Quebec
Quebec, QC,

The myth of Narcissus has marked the history of
painting since the Renaissance. The exhibition
O Narcisse, ma soeur…, prepared by sculptor,
photographer and installation artist Lorraine
Fontaine, presents a personal, contemporary,
feminine view of this legend.
Designed
specifically for the Musée’s Gallery 1, the
installation represents an imaginary site, a
mythical venue with both extroverted and
introverted elements.
