This internationally acclaimed exhibition returns with over 60 works by the top
American ceramists. Ceramic National 2000 provides an overview of contemporary
American ceramic art at the century’s end and includes examples from the three main
currents of contemporary ceramics: functional, formal sculptural, and conceptual.
It is
the 30th ceramic national exhibition held at the Everson since its inception in 1932 and
is regarded as the nation’s preeminent platform for showcasing contemporary ceramic
art.
