New-Fangle 2000 is GenArtSF's 2nd exhibition of Bay Area young emerging artists working in a broad range of technology-based media. GenArtSF’s mission is to strengthen and empower a community of young artists, to cultivate a new generation of arts audiences, and to connect the arts community to the community at large. GenartSF is a project of the San Francisco Foundation Community Initiatives Fund.

New-Fangle curatorial committee is:
John Alderman, musician, artist, and author of the upcoming Perseus book, Sonic Boom;
Shawn Brixey, artist and Director of New Media & Professor at UC Berkeley;
Lisa Goldman, former Director of the Interactive Media Festival and independent curator;
Jon Winet, artist, co-producer of Democracy-The Last Campaign, and CCAC Adjunct Professor.
Herbst International Exhibition Hall:
The Exhibition Hall is located on the Presidio's Main Post at the intersection of Moraga and Montgomery Streets. It is accessible through the following Presidio Gates: Marina (Marina Boulevard and Lyon Street); Lombard (Lombard and Lyon Streets); Presidio Boulevard (Presidio Boulevard and Pacific Street); or Arguello (Arguello Boulevard and Jackson Street). Park at the Main Post parade ground, just down the hill from the Hall.
