"ART NOW - Cerith Wyn Evans: Cleave 00"
2000-10-31 until 2001-02-11
Tate Britian
London, , UK United Kingdom

Art Now is a programme of contemporary art at Tate Britain which aims to promote awareness and discussion of new and unfamiliar art in Britain today. For the latest exhibition in the series Cerith Wyn Evans has created a new installation which is rooted in the work of William Blake, the subject of Tate Britain's major autumn exhibition.

Wyn Evans began his career as a film and video maker, but more recently he has created sculptures and installations using combinations of materials such as neon lighting, mirrors, fireworks and plants.

For Art Now he has created a light sculpture in which a random selection of texts by Blake are presented in Morse code and juxtaposed with modern objects.
