Artists are invited to participate in the Mixed media art Experiment as
part of the activities at the Evolution Festival.
Bring along your chosen art weapons and capture evolving performances
and displays that are part of the Evolution Festival.
WhyNULL- The role of the artist is to comment on or capture the issues of
our times. Be it musicians, poets, sculptors, dancers, digital and
multimedia artists, painters, cratsworkers potters etc, artists reflect
and convey a unique insight into matters that effect our lives.
The purpose of the Evolution Festival is to give artists across all
artforms an avenue to express how they see the world unfolding.

What role do they see the arts play in todays worldNULL
It is also an opportunity to engage the public in the artmaking
process. To see how artists are inspired, how they create their work.
HowNULL Bring along an easel, drawing pad, note book, clay or whatever
your medium may be, and capture the images that are part of the festival
programme. Artists are ecouraged to attend any events on the programme,
create works and sell them if they choose to the festival audience.
