Documents on Finnish performances from the 1980's are on view in Room X. The exhibition also features extracts from Open I, arranged in Meilahti in the summer of 1984, and Open II, realised in the fjelds of Northern Norway in 1987. In addition, the exhibiton contains material from Lea and Pekka Kantonen's hikes in northern NOrway in the early 1980's
The documents of the exhibition represent the transient art of their times: performance, body painting and earth art. In their ritual-like works, the artists explore encounters with others and one's relationship with nature.
