Indepth Arts News: "Call to Artists: Mish, Mosh and More" 2000-12-21 until 2001-03-28 Gallery of Contemporary and Indigenous Art Tucson, AZ, USA United States of America
GOCAIA, the Gallery of Contemporary And Indigenous Art, brings people to downtown Tucson. The
gallery, which has non-profit status, raises money for the community. Its first season showcases works by artists from diverse backgrounds, including Native American, African American, and Hispanic. A portion of GOCAIAs revenue is donated to community organizations. They are hosting a juried exhibition April 28 through May 20, 2001. The show is themed Mish, Mosh and More - an exploration of modern multi- and mixed- media artwork.
