This exhibition is a group show held in conjuction with the Armory Art Center's Master Artists Workshop Program. Works included are by Sue Archer, Suzanne Benton, Stanley Bleifeld, Linda Chapman, Eugene Daub, Robert Ebendorf, Chris Gustin, Valerie Hammond, Tom Hopkins, Ben Long, Marilynn Nicholson, Graham Nickson, Neil Patterson, Sandi Poerantozzi, Vince Pitelka, Peter Rubino, Tony Ryder, Peter Schroth, Franco Scuderi, Nelson Shanks and Michael Sherrill.
The Armory Art Center, founded in 1986, is the Palm
Beaches’ leading visual arts education and exhibition center.
Housed in the historic Palm Beach County National Guard
Armory Building in the heart of culturally revitalized West Palm
Beach, the center is listed on the National Register of Historic
Places and is an excellent example of Art Deco architecture.
The Armory’s Colaciello Gallery, a 1,200 square foot
exhibition space, hosts no less than eight exhibitions
annually, including two nationally juried shows – The Art of
Photography and Figurative Small Works.
Education programs
at the Armory include
over 50 studio
classes for adults and youth in a wide range of subjects, as well as Master
Artists Workshops and Art Camp, an annual summer program serving over 450
children.
