"Pamela Joseph: Sideshow of the Absurd"

Pamela Joseph's Sideshow of the Absurd is a multi-media exhibition of humorous drawings and mechanical sculptures with sound which references the visual culture of the traveling carnival while exploring contemporary notions of female-ness and female power. The Sideshow opened at the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art on January 12 and will be on exhibit at BMoCA until March 25 with the largest attendance in the history of the Museum.
The second venue will be at the Northern Indiana Arts Association in Munster, IL from July 1 - September 2. The third venue will be at the Jonson Gallery at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque showing from November 13 until January 18, 2002. More venues will be announced.
