"GLOW: Reiko Aoyagi, Phillipa Lawrence, Artstation"
2001-02-08 until 2001-03-01
ArtSpace
Woolloomooloo, Sydney, NS, AU

As part of an ongoing committment to developing links with the Welsh arts community, Artspace has invited four contemporary installation artists from Cardiff to Sydney to develop work in the Gunnery studios around ideas of light, space and air for the exhibition Glow.

Focussing on the possibilities of these elements either metaphorically or literally, the artists will work with a range of materials to produce large scale, site specific installations involving 600 gold-leaf covered light bulbs, huge inflatable light-filled structures and direct architectural interventions.

GLOW has been supported by Wales Arts International [a partnership between the British Council & the Arts Council of Wales], Korean Airlines, Arjo Wiggins Australia and Dalton Fine Paper.
