This exhibtion features Fabienne Christenson's Irish paintings, just in time for St. Patrick's Day. After spending two months in S.W. County Cork last fall, she returned with a great many small and medium landscapes of the Emerald Isle.
Every subject from sheep to shrines to hills to castles has became a subject to explore and the artist reveled in the chance to capture it all on canvas.
In addition, Fabienne will be showing the first in her new series of Modern Allegories. Modern life is explored to its full depth, come and empathize with such Grand Circumstances as Thrift Being Seduced by 0.3% Introductory APR. More to come.
Fabienne Christenson, portrait and landscape artist, based in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She prides herself in her imagination.
Fabienne has worked hard to bring her talent to bear on difficult
but worthy subjects. A Realist, she is not afraid to explore many ways to bring
excitement to her paintings in oils. Fabienne paints: panoramas,
humor paintings based on art history, conventional portraits and landscapes
or ideas. It is important to her that her art supports these principles:
it is the paint that matters, the method of presentation is solid and not
a gimmick, any humor in the paintings will remain fresh,
and that the whole is above all a well done representation.
