"Call for Entries: 20th Year Anniversary Juried Competition - International Tea Time"

Organized by Women In Photography International, this worldwide exhibition is an opportunity to celebrate our 20th Anniversary, by inviting woman who take pictures to submit their images to be showcased in an exhibition that will be held at the House Of Photographic Art (HOPA) in San Juan Capistrano, located between Los Angeles and San Diego. This juried exhibit will then travel internationally to galleries throughout 2002. The theme for the Anniversary exhibit International Tea Time was inspired by the classic T- Pot image by Linda McCartney.

All entries must contain objects that relate to the production, marketing, distribution, consumption, paraphernalia and enjoyment or ritual of the beverage Tea. The interpretation can range from documentary realism to abstract. All photography media accepted... b/w, color, Polaroid, digital prints and non-silver process prints may be submitted. ALL slide submissions will automatically be accepted into the WIPI Archive which is used for research by collectors and historians worldwide. While the exhibit is traveling, several images will be chosen and displayed on the WIPI web site, which is viewed by thousands of viewers from around the globe.

Entry Fees:
Free for WIPI Members along with a $10 handling fee.
Non-members, $10 each slide (max 10 slides) plus a $10 handling fee.
Credit cards also accepted. All entries must be postmarked or received by May 10th. The prospectus and call for entries form may be downloaded from the Women In Photography International web site www.womeninphotography.org, or send a stamped, self-addressed business size #10 envelope to: Women In Photography International attn: Tea Time, 569 N.
