"Call for Artist: Deaf Way II Conference, Arts Festival and Artists' Symposium"

Deaf Way II is currently accepting proposals from artists in the performing, visual and literary arts for the Deaf Way II Conference, Arts Festival and Artists’ Symposium. In July, 2002 over 10,000 participants and more than 400 artists from around the world will gather in Washington, DC to celebrate excellence in the arts.

Deaf or hard of hearing artists are encouraged to submit work on any theme. Hearing artists should submit work that deals in come way with Deaf culture or deafness. The deadline for artists to submit proposals to appear or exhibit is April 15, 2001. Carefully consider what you would like to perform or exhibit during Deaf Way II and then send in your proposal.
