The Contemporary Arts Museum's Teen Council will develop
and curate a juried exhibition of the work of high school
students. The 2000-2001 Teen Council consists of former
members Nikki Allen, Michael Bernell, Christina Diliberto,
Andrea Glasser, Julie Hill and Corey Towers as well as new
members, Kinsey Miller, Graham Zuelke, Amye Greene, and
Zackary Christmas.
Last year's Teen Council Exhibition, Lather, Rinse,
Repeat: Work from Houston Area High Schools, featured the
works of 29 artists and was accompanied by special programs
for high school students. This exhibition will be
accompanied by a Perspecitives-format catalogue with
comments by Teen Council members.
