Too much art is out out of reach, HANDS OFF - LOOK BUT DON'T
TOUCH. The Sky Sculptures are out of reach but one may still play with them.
By day, The Sky Sculptures are 'hands on', suspended high in the air and operated by the public using a soft pull cord or blowing in the wind. They are an imaginative world of changing images. Sky Sculptures are 'hands on art', effort=result, although this installation
is primarily for children, they are a source of fascination for adults who
find themselves intrigued by the concept, design and changing forms.
At night the same sculptures that people have been exploring and playing with, now become the set,
costumes and props for the evening performance. They float down, engulfing the performers or
float serenely as part of the setting, suddenly mutating to create the most fantastic
scenescapes. Other parts of the set integrate to become puppet creatures and costumes.
Made from today's High Tech Materials, the InterActive Aerial Sculptures are exceptionally
strong and incredibly light weight. Although the largest is over 3 mtrs in diameter, they pack
away into small easily transported pieces that can be carried as accompanied luggage. The
installation will fit into a Mini-Bus - Very tourable & freight costs are minimal
