"Members Exhibition at Weill Cornell Medical Library"

New York Society of Women Artist
New York, NY,
USA United States of America
Since its inception in 1924, the New York Society members have relentlessly
carried a strong voice in the art world, both as individual artists and as a
group. Their work, always fresh, at times bordering on controversial, is
dynamic and lively. These artists are not afraid to push perceived boundaries.
Painting, mixed media, prints and sculpture will be featured. Both nature and
space are explored through realism, abstract and non-objective statements and
conceptual pieces. On view will be delicate watercolors, bold acrylics and
oils as well as prints from small to extra-large and monumental sculpture.
All members of the New York Society have had numerous solo exhibitions and
their works are represented in public and private collections on both
national and international levels.
