"UNBRIDLED: An Ehibition of Photographers Sponsored bt Joes Basement"

This is an exhibition of personal photographs by photographers represented by Carter Represents at the Association of Photographers gallery. The organizers wished to provide an opportunity for photographer to show their unbridled creativity, without the restrictions of a commercial brief. So the work on display is mainly new and unseen work.

They have a photographer they are in correspondence with, Chetan Wilas Bhende who is based in India, he asked them to help with any donations towards the Indian earthquake, it was decided that all profit made from the print sales will go towards The Times of India Earthquake Appeal. Donations will also be taken at the preview.

Carter Represents is a young and vibrant, newly established, photographers agency. Based in London, they represent talented photographers who cover all aspects of photography. Their aim is to provide a one-stop shop from advertising and design agencies to magazines; to ease the burden of choosing a photographer. They have also formed a production company for the associated components that are needed for a major campaign. Included in the exhibition are works by Antti Hallakorpi – international award winning food photographer, Tobi Corney – award winning celebrity and portrait photographer, Ben Wood – award winning architecture and landscape photographer, Bruce Smith – fashion and life style photographer, Marco Cardelli – international still life photographer, Chris Tak – talented and unique fashion photographer, Erik Williamson – international sports and advertising photographer, Ian Parry – interiors and still life photographer, Jason Knott – up and coming advertising photographer, Niklas Palmklint – international fashion and advertising photographer, Norma Walton – talented still life photographer, Pete McKenzie – celebrated across the globe for his beautiful nudes, Ronny Næss – international fashion and advertising photographer, John Lamb – advertising photographer, Yoram Reshef – specialising in technology photography

The exhibition will run from the 14th – 19th May 2001 at the Association of Photographers Gallery in 81 Leonard Street, London, EC2A 4QS. The Private View will take place on Tuesday 15thMay, from 6.30 onwards.
