Saturo Hoshino is a leading Japanese artist whose monumental installations have been pushing the boundaries of ceramic sculpture to new limits. Executed in black, carbon-impregnated stoneware, his works explore the primordial nature of clay and the processes of clay-working.
6 June at 1pm there is a public lecture about Hoshinos work.
29 June from 8pm there is a performance of Clay, Fire and Body by Satoru Hoshino.
